I 1st heard his voice in “One More Time” Daft Punk Hit Single Discovery Album. His voice had such a signature sound.. I went digging in the vast archives of Underground House searching for more of Romanthony’s music came across a few but one caught my ears and soul…
That was “Hold On”.. With an enlightening and powerful vocal speech sample playing alongside Romanthony’s sharp vocals and four to the floor kicking away amongst the uplifting melodic tones “Hold On” is a song for the masses. In the dark times we need music to uplift and keep us going!
I always play this track when I’m feeling really down in the dumps!

Gone but not forgotten… Daft Punk must be receiving heaps of tribute requests at this time. Although their amazing new “Random Access Memories” recent release is their priority at this time. I’m pretty sure the duo will have time to make an appearance/tribute track in honour of Romanthony.
My condolences to his family… Although I never knew him. I knew his music and thats a little part of him that I can cherish personally.
